Children of Tanzania
Home

Tanzania Children Concern (TCC) is a registered Non-Government Organization in Moshi, Tanzania. Founded in 2003 by a small group of concerned teachers, TCC has since been devoted to addressing the needs of local children and families made vulnerable by the AIDS pandemic.

Vision

We envision a Tanzania in which vulnerable children have access to meaningful learning opportunities in order to realize their fullest potential, and where vulnerable people's rights are respected and supported.

TCC Wall TCC provides educational opportunities and care to children in need.

Mission

To provide educational opportunities for vulnerable children, to build healthy and supportive environments where they can be nurtured, and to bring adequate care and assistance to the most vulnerable.

Where We Work

Moshi is in the Kilimanjaro region of northern Tanzania, where the HIV prevalence rate is 7.3%, one of the highest in the country. TCC works in six highly affected vulnerable communities within Moshi's urban and rural districts, providing much-needed support and assistance to more than fifty families and over two-hundred children.
